I’m Toluwani Akaehomen. I Help Entrepreneurs Build Their Dreams.

I’m Dr. Toluwani Akaehomen — also known as Dr. Phenomenal — a leadership catalyst, keynote speaker, facilitator, and business enterprise development coach. I help purpose-driven individuals, organisations, and communities unlock potential, align passion with performance, and lead with integrity and impact.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to transformation — personal, professional, and collective. I serve as Lead Consultant at Vantage Dymensions Leadership and People Development, where I design and deliver transformative learning, leadership, and organisational growth strategies.

I’m also the Founder and Director of Programmes at the Roegate Institute for Leadership, Management and Research, and the visionary behind HergenuityAfrika — Ireland’s first entrepreneurship and enterprise Development platform for women of Black and immigrant backgrounds., where we champion innovation, visibility, and inclusion.

My mission is to help others lead courageously, build lasting legacies, and rise with purpose. In 2024, I ran as a local election candidate, deepening my commitment to civic leadership and inclusive representation. Outside of my professional life, I’m actively involved in community development, serving actively on boards and advisory committees, including the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC). I also contribute to local media initiatives, support grassroots fundraising, and drive empowerment projects that bridge gaps and uplift voices.

Through my personal brand at drphenomenal.com, I offer coaching, keynotes, and content that empower individuals and organisations to lead from within. My work with The Phenomenal Collective supports a global network of leaders, changemakers, and coaches committed to growth, justice, and innovation.

But beyond the titles and platforms, I am deeply grounded in faith and family. I am the proud wife to a wonderful, spirit-filled man whose support sustains my mission, and I am incredibly blessed to be the mother of three brilliant adult children and one phenomenal, soccer-loving teenager who keeps life vibrant and joyful.

Whether I’m speaking on stage, facilitating a breakthrough session, or serving in my community, I lead with purpose — and I walk alongside others as they discover and activate their own phenomenal path.

The audio version of some chapters of her book has been listened to in over 20 countries. She is ghostwriter/editor of four other books. She has also written for the defunct Kilkenny Voice Newspapers and currently writes regularly for the Kilkenny Observer.

Her commitment to community development is evident in her volunteering work as newsreader and radio host on Community Radio Kilkenny City 88.7FM (among others), having previously worked in the media in Nigeria. Among other professional qualifications, Toluwani holds a Bachelors in Business Studies (specialisation in Human Resource Management)- University College Dublin, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a UCD Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise. She is also a certified Life and Executive Coach.

Toluwani is also currently a Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) at Coventry University, UK, with research interests in Migrant Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Leadership and Entrepreneurship Education. Her research paper, titled “Advancing the Socioeconomic Development and Integration of Migrant Women Through Entrepreneurship Education: The Case of Ireland” was published in July 2020 in Multidisciplinary Approach to Entrepreneurship Education for Migrants edited by Selma Mosquera and Patricia Jardim da Palma of Lisbon University, Portugal. https://www.igi-global.com/book/multidisciplinary-approach-entrepreneurship-education-migrants/239381 She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Member, Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
